You can read more about their exact agenda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onboardoptics.org\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Um9oa6DPq1M\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recent webcast<\/a>, involving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/it-infrastructure\/services\/assembly-test?mhsrc=ibmsearch_a&amp;mhq=photonics%20assembly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IBM<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalfoundries.com\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GlobalFoundries<\/a>, a survey was carried out among the participants to determine typical manufacturing horizons and the associated application spaces. This obviously depends on the exact requirements, i.e. on the complexity of the machine system or indeed entire production line.
